Emris Illedwyn Siôned was born to one of Kassen’s party members. As her upbringing didn’t tend to stay in one place very long, she has seen more of the world than she would let on and learned to quickly assess new people and their true intentions based on fewer known societal cues. In her youth, she began noticing other people didn’t have some of the powers that she had, both magic and hexes. She also became aware of the fragility of most of those around her, watching more than one generation of friends grow old and die while she remained relatively unchanged. Now on the cusp of her 140th birthday, she views death whimsically, and merely hopes to enjoy the people she meets for the brief time they are able to be around her. In that vein, she began brewing beers and liquors, with some experimentation into infusing the spirits with her various abilities. She is very shy and reserved, although not lacking in self confidence. She also enjoys pranks and practical jokes, although her sense of humor is often too dry to convey her harmless intentions.
After some 20 years in Kassen brewing beer and mildly spooking the townspeople, she was asked by some of the local youths to join them in ridding the undead scourge from Kassen’s tomb, and generally to set off on grand adventure. Seeing the like minded and somewhat mischievous Pip, the fun seeking and often inebriated Otoniel, the youthful good looks and incredible charm of Pehar, the newly liberated and exuberantly headstrong Korred, and the various characteristics of that other guy, she sold her home and brewery and set off with them.
